Newsletter Autum Term – Week 4

Dear Parents, This week’s theme was “People Who Help Us”! The children had lots of fun exploring the topic and even painted their own fire engine hats. 🗣 Vocabulary Focus We introduced the following new words: Policeman, firefighter, teacher, doctor, vet, nurse, and more. 🌟 Group Time Highlights • We read the books “Going to the Doctor” and “Going to the Dentist”. • Matched people who help us with their transport. • Sang nursery rhymes. • Practised counting from 1–10. • Continued practising colours. 🧩 Montessori Activity This week, our Montessori activities included: • A 3-piece puzzle with people who help us. • A memory game that the children really enjoyed. 📅 A Quick Look at Our Week (Please note: regular activities were paused this week to give space to our special events.) *Monday* – In Italian, we learned new words such as polizia and maestro to match our theme. *Tuesday* – At cooking, we baked jam tarts. Newsletter Autumn Term – Week 3

Dear Parents, This week’s theme was Family! The children drew their homes and created their very own family trees. 🌟 Vocabulary Focus This week, we introduced the following words: Mother, father, sister, brother, siblings, grandpa, grandma, and more. 🌟 Group Time Highlights • We read the book Family • Sang nursery rhymes • Practised counting from 1 to 10 • Continued practising colours 🌟 Montessori Activity This week, we explored Montessori activity boards (also known as busy boards). These wonderful educational tools stimulate development through hands-on play. The children especially enjoyed the activity of placing balls into the “ice cream.” 🌟 A Quick Look at Our Week Monday – In Italian, we continued practising the song Se sei felice e lo sai.  Newsletter Autumn Term – Week 2 Dear Parents, This week’s theme was All About Me! The children had fun creating their own portraits and shared who is in their family, even making a fun finger family hand drawing. They also filled out "All About Me" profiles, sharing their favorite things. It was a wonderful way for everyone to learn more about each other! Vocabulary Focus This week, we introduced the following words: Boy, girl, colours, animals, nursery, mum, dad, brother, sister, family, sycamore, hazel, grass. Group Time Highlights • Sang nursery rhymes • Recognising colours  Montessori Activity This week, the children practiced cutting paper with scissors to help develop their fine motor skills. It was a fun activity that allowed them to build hand-eye coordination and strengthen their hand muscles. Newsletter Autumn Term – Week 1

 Newsletter Autumn Term – Week 1 Dear Parents, Finally back! This week we focused fully on the children’s induction rather than on specific topics. We are very happy to share that the children are settling in really well, and we are very proud of them. The children enjoyed free playtime, and we also had a small group session in which everyone participated happily. Starting next week, we will begin our regular topics and lessons.  Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 12 Dear Parents, This week’s theme was Party! The children created colourful party decorations, which we used to celebrate during our party on Wednesday. It was a joyful and exciting event! Vocabulary Focus This week, we introduced the following words: Fun, happy, generous, sharing ideas, respecting opinions, fair, and more.  Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 11 Dear Parents, This week’s topic was *Summer* The children created colourful ice lollies using paper and sticks, and they also made beautiful flower art paintings. Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 10 Dear Parents, This week, we celebrated Sports Day with lots of exciting activities! The children made flags and medals and took part in a tunnel game designed to develop their gross motor skills. Vocabulary Focus: This week, we introduced the following vocabulary: • Healthy food, junk food • Running, jumping, dribbling, sliding, etc. Group Time Highlights: • We read Little Monkey • Talked about different sports • Sang nursery rhymes • Practiced counting from 1 to 10 • Explored shapes • Worked with groups of objects • Practiced a new ballet dance for the show Montessori Activity: Our Montessori activity this week was sewing. The children practiced “pretend sewing” using fun patterns and laces. They all completed their work with the help of the teachers.
