Newsletter Summer Term – Week 12

 Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 12 Dear Parents, This week’s theme was Party! The children created colourful party decorations, which we used to celebrate during our party on Wednesday. It was a joyful and exciting event! Vocabulary Focus This week, we introduced the following words: Fun, happy, generous, sharing ideas, respecting opinions, fair, and more.  Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 11 Dear Parents, This week’s topic was *Summer* The children created colourful ice lollies using paper and sticks, and they also made beautiful flower art paintings. Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 10 Dear Parents, This week, we celebrated Sports Day with lots of exciting activities! The children made flags and medals and took part in a tunnel game designed to develop their gross motor skills. Vocabulary Focus: This week, we introduced the following vocabulary: • Healthy food, junk food • Running, jumping, dribbling, sliding, etc. Group Time Highlights: • We read Little Monkey • Talked about different sports • Sang nursery rhymes • Practiced counting from 1 to 10 • Explored shapes • Worked with groups of objects • Practiced a new ballet dance for the show Montessori Activity: Our Montessori activity this week was sewing.   Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 9 Dear Parents, This week, we celebrated Healthy Food Week with lots of fun and engaging activities! The children created beautiful fruit art by sticking coloured paper onto their drawings. We also set up a Fruits and Vegetables Shop on the mat throughout the week. Some children played the role of customers while others took turns being the cashier. We also continued practicing for Sports Day—we’re all getting ready for Tuesday! 🏅 The children have been working hard on their sports certificates and preparing their own medals.  *Ciao Ciao Newsletter – Summer Term, Week 8* Dear Parents, This week’s theme was Geometry, explored with lots of love and creativity! The children enjoyed two special activities: Shape Stamps: The children used plates with different colored paints to stamp a variety of shapes. *Shapes Game:* Using a box filled with different shapes, the children created their own shape patterns. Newsletter Summer Term – Week 7

  Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 7 Dear Parents, This week, we celebrated  Father’s Day  with lots of love and creativity! The children worked on two special activities: • A  Father’s Day card • A  Super Dad bookmark We also began practicing for  Sports Day —and let’s just say, getting everyone to follow instructions was a workout in itself! 😂 ⸻ Vocabulary Focus: This week, we introduced the words: flying ,  lying ,  sad , and  grumpy Group Time Highlights: • We read  Dogs Can Fly • Sang nursery rhymes • Practiced counting from 1 to 10 • Worked with groups of objects • Learned a fun new  numbers song ⸻ Montessori Activity: Our sensory experience this week was a  sand pit  activity.   Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 6 Dear Parents, This week, our topic was  The Five Senses . The children completed two activities exploring sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. We also created a fun “Mrs. Potato” face, where the children guessed where to place the eyes, mouth, nose, and ears. Another highlight was making a colorful  Elmer collage . We introduced key vocabulary such as: Listening, taste, touch, hearing , and  seeing .
