 Dear Parents, Summer Term – Week 5 This Week’s Topic: Eid This week, we learned about the celebration of Eid. The children enjoyed discovering the similarities between Christmas and Eid. Both celebrations focus on family, togetherness, love, and sharing special moments with one another. We were also excited to introduce the children to the importance of respecting all cultures. For this reason, next week, on the occasion of International Culture Day, we will celebrate cultures from around the world.  Dear Parents, Summer Term – Week 4 This Week’s Topic: Science – Dinosaurs This week, we explored the exciting world of dinosaurs. The children enjoyed learning about different types of dinosaurs and discussing their characteristics. We were also very excited to observe our eight little caterpillars, which have now turned into butterflies! Over the coming days and weeks, the children will continue to watch and learn about their amazing metamorphosis.  Dear Parents, Summer Term – Week 3 This week’s topic was Science: Experiments. Throughout the week, we talked about different scientist jobs and carried out some exciting experiments. Our eight small caterpillars have now moved into their chrysalises. Over the coming days and weeks, the children will have the opportunity to watch them transform into butterflies.  Dear Parents, Summer Term – Week 2 This week’s topic was Science: Minibeasts. Our eight small caterpillars are growing bigger and bigger! Over the coming days and weeks, the children will have the opportunity to watch them grow, form a chrysalis, and eventually become butterflies. Throughout the week, we discussed different minibeasts and their features. Dear Parents, Summer Term – Week 1 This week’s topic was Spring and Butterflies. Eight small caterpillars arrived at school, and the children have been very excited to observe them. Over the coming days and weeks, they will have the opportunity to watch the caterpillars grow, form a chrysalis, and eventually become butterflies. Throughout the week, we discussed the butterfly life cycle and spent time closely observing the caterpillars.  Newsletter – Spring Term, Week 11 Dear Parents, This week, the children explored the topic of Easter. We talked about why Christians celebrate Easter and discussed some of the traditions associated with it. The children took part in a variety of arts and crafts activities.
