Newsletter Summer Term – Week 12

 Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 12 Dear Parents, This week’s theme was Party! The children created colourful party decorations, which we used to celebrate during our party on Wednesday. It was a joyful and exciting event! Vocabulary Focus This week, we introduced the following words: Fun, happy, generous, sharing ideas, respecting opinions, fair, and more.  Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 11 Dear Parents, This week’s topic was *Summer* The children created colourful ice lollies using paper and sticks, and they also made beautiful flower art paintings. Everyone took part in painting the stage backdrop for the show and decorating their show T-shirts — what a creative and productive week. *Vocabulary Focus* This week, we introduced the following words: Summer, hot, heat, flowers, bees, nectar, ice cream, ice lollies, sun, and more! *Group Time Highlights* • We read The Little Bees • Talked about summer and the changes it brings • Sang nursery rhymes • Practiced counting from 1 to 10 • Explored shapes • Worked with groups of objects • Rehearsed a new ballet dance for the show *Montessori Activity* This week’s Montessori activity was the magnetic colour sorting board. Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 10 Dear Parents, This week, we celebrated Sports Day with lots of exciting activities! The children made flags and medals and took part in a tunnel game designed to develop their gross motor skills. Vocabulary Focus: This week, we introduced the following vocabulary: • Healthy food, junk food • Running, jumping, dribbling, sliding, etc. Group Time Highlights: • We read Little Monkey • Talked about different sports • Sang nursery rhymes • Practiced counting from 1 to 10 • Explored shapes • Worked with groups of objects • Practiced a new ballet dance for the show Montessori Activity: Our Montessori activity this week was sewing.
