Newsletter Spring Term 2025 - Week 10


Dear Parents,

 ๐Ÿ˜Š

This week’s topic was “St. Patrick’s Day’’.

It’s a celebration of Irish Country, three-leaf clover, or shamrock, is the symbol. Traditionally the food is the pancake.

Children made shamrock card and they watched a video on St. Patrick day.

We talked about this day at group time and continue with our animal and colour exercise. We also introduced numbers from 1 to 10 for maths.

On Monday for Italian lesson we learned the words Mani, Piede and Testa (hands,foot, head)⭐️ ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡บ

On Tuesday at cooking we prepared pancakes to celebrate St. Patrick day.  ๐Ÿฅž 

On Wednesday for Forest school the children collected some leaves and painted the shamrock.☘️ 

On Thursday for computer science we practice how to use the mouse colouring a virtual drawing. Children are working on using eye movement to control the mouse.  ๐Ÿ–ฅ️ 

On Friday for Drama we learned a new song called Shake and move, pretending to use maracas. ๐Ÿช‡ 

NOTES:

Reminders & dates:

-Monday 10 o clock is Bubble Church Puppet Show. You are welcome to participate with your child also if he doesn’t have school

-We need to collect empty actimel boxes to create our maracas.

-Parent meeting is on Tuesday 1st April. Don’t forget to book your appointment 

-Wednesday 2nd April Easter Egg Hunt at 10 o clock

  Ciao Ciao Newsletter Summer Term – Week 5 Dear Parents, Our topic for the week is  butterflies . This week, we focused on the butterfly life cycle. The children painted paper butterflies, made caterpillars out of egg boxes, and decorated butterfly stencils. We also watched a BBC video about metamorphosis. Newsletter: Summer Term, Week 3

Ciao Ciao Newsletter: Summer Term, Week 3 Dear Parents, Our topic for the next two weeks will be  “Transport”! This week, the children painted two cardboard boxes to make a car and a van. On Friday, they had lots of fun playing inside them! They also made traffic lights and coloured in transport-themed drawings. We played a maths game with toy cars to help develop their numeracy skills. During group time, we read the story of  Poor Old Rabbit  to teach the importance of taking care of toys. We also sang nursery rhymes, talked about transports, and continued practicing numbers from 1 to 10, as well as the letters A, B, and C. Our  Montessori activity  for the week was opening and closing boxes and bottles—great for developing fine motor skills. Newsletter Summer Term, week 2

*Summer Term – Week 2* Dear Parents, ๐Ÿ˜Š Our topic for the week has been “* Science *”! We’ve had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful weather, with the children spending most of their days outside playing with water and sand. In science, the children explored some exciting experiments with clay: -They made a * volcano * out of clay and watched it erupt using vinegar and bicarbonate of soda! -The children became * archaeologists * and discovered dinosaurs, creating their own fossils with clay! During * group time *, we read the story “Grampy Frog”, sang nursery rhymes, learned the words linked with spring season, talked about insects, and continued practicing numbers from 1 to 10 with a fun game called “What’s the Missing Number?”.
